Installation Instructions

Only a qualified technician should perform this work. Changes in wiring or obvious shorting will void your warranty.

Mounting hardware is not furnished. Recommend metal or plastic anchors for concrete; bolts, washers and nuts for metal or wood. Your application will dictate these parameters.

Using the control box as a guide, mark and drill four holes for mounting to an inside wall. Leveling is essential.

Again, using the control box as a guide, drill holes through the wall for the coin tubes (20 degree angle for both upper and lower), reject wire and outside indicator box. The hole for the inlet tube should start approximately ½" up from the top of the box in line with the inlet slot. The hole for the return tube can be marked using the exit slot in the back of the box. Make sure there is no binding on the tubes or reject wire. The ½" pipe on the outside indicator box pushes through the wall from the outside with the junction box on the inside. The locknut on the end of the pipe holds the assembly in position.

Connect the yellow, white, blue and purple wires from the control box to the outside indicator box color to color.

The water valve is marked for direction of flow. It must be installed in a horizontal, upright position, protected from freezing and mounted low in the system to create backpressure against it. If not mounted in this manner, it may not shut off correctly. A gate valve is recommended ahead of the water valve to aid in cleaning and repair.

Connect the red and black wires to the control solenoid on the valve. If your machine is equipped with an automatic drain, wire both solenoids in parallel. Extra green wire from the solenoid is ground and can be connected to a bolt on the valve. CONNECT ALL WIRES COLOR TO COLOR.
