Using the Parameter Setup Card: Mag Stripe Keypad Encoder
NOTE: The parameters are preset at the
factory. You will not need to set the parameters to begin using the
encoder.
To program numerical values, press and
release the "Card Return Button". Each press will increase the value one digit
at a time. Holding the button in will cause the value to increase rapidly. When the value
nears the desired value, release the button and step it slowly to the exact value desired.
If the desired value is overshot, you must hold the button in (value will
increase); partially insert the card; release the button and retrieve the card.
The value will now be reset to zero.
- Insert the "Parameter Setup Card". After insertion the display will
momentarily display "PR.SET" followed by the first parameter to be set:
"I.D.". The display alternates between "I.D." and a number. Yours is
factory set at "1". If your system has more than one fill site using readers,
each reader should be assigned its own unique ID number.
After the Parameter Setup Card cycles through and the ID is set, each time the card is
partially inserted and removed, the display will change as follows:

"HOLD", "YES" or
"NO" |
